Okay now we are going to try some of the steps below to install windows XP on VirtualBox, prior to the installation of Windows XP in Virtualbox First you have to install VirtualBox and provide *.iso file of Windows XP.
I assume you have installed Virtualbox and have *.iso file of Windows XP.
Ok, Now we get to the steps !!

Open Virtuabox and select New

Type Virtual name you want, then select microsoft windows operating system and version Choose Windows XP (because we will install Windows XP) after the content, select the Next

Set the memory that you want then select Next

Choose create a virtual hard drive now, then Create

In Hard drive file type, select the "VDI (VirtualBox Disk Image)", then Next

Select "Dynamical allocated", then Next

Adjust as needed hard disc and then Create

the initial configuration is complete

Furthermore, the basic configuration to allow the installation can run smoothly. On the toolbar select "Settings"

In the left panel, select "System" and specify "Boot Order" desired.
Then select "Storage" in the "Storage tree" symbol highlight on the CD-ROM icon, the "Attributes" specify "the CD / DVD device" that will be used (in this case we use the CD / DVD image file such as *. Iso)

Further settings for Network
Click File -> Preferences >- Network" then click green button (add host-only network ins)

After that, click press <space> on the keyboard

On the Adapter tab, enter the IPv4 address or leave the existing value. On the DHCP Server tab please select whether to enable the DHCP server or not. Adjust the network configuration on the DHCP server tab with what is on the Adapter tab

After setting the Network completed, we proceed Install the OS as a guest. Perform the network settings on the guest OS. Select guest OS before, click Settings in Oracle VM VirtualBox Manager window. In the Settings window, go to the Network module. On the Adapter 1 tab, place a check in the Enable Network Adapter. Then select Attached to: Host-only Adapter and Name: vboxnet0

Run the Virtual machine to setup the Windows XP and set up like usual.

And now, when Windows XP was installed in VirtualBox, we try to check the Windows and Backtrack has been connected, and check the IP configuration of Windows XP

When I tried to check the connection from Windows XP to Baktrack succeed, but I try from Backtrack ketiksa checked with Windows XP does not work, same thing when I try to connect the host to host, host to guest and guest to guest my efforts fail, I do not could not understand why, but I still keep trying.
